This is a NEW set of rules for this sub-forum.
These are the new rules for this sub-forum
- Membership on this sub-forum is a privilege, not a right!
- Members are not to make irrelevant posts or announcements in the main sub-forum.
- All members must complete his/her profile that includes the location of: (City AND Country)
- If a members IP does not match City and Country, expect a ban.
- If members use a proxy server to hide an IP, expect a ban.
- All members with completed profiles are allowed to post.
- NO animated images are allowed - NONE
- If you, the member, does not complete the profile that includes the city and country, you will have only one warning and the post will be closed.
- If you, the member, completes the profile (closed post), contact a moderator to reopen the closed post.
- Do not create another post because of a closed post. Contact a Moderator to reopen the closed post.
- If you, the member posts into another post without a completed profile, that post will be deleted and or a warning added to the post.
- The second warning is a ban!
- If you, the member is involved in a business to gather information from this site and the membership for resell, Immediate BAN!
- If a member continuously posts without a profile, the ban is immediate and forever.
- If a member knowingly helps a banned member, you to will be banned!
- If a member knowingly shares a user name and password, the ban is immediate and forever for both.
- If a members knowingly shares a user name and password with a banned member, the ban is immediate and forever for both.
- Members that take documents, work, images, solutions ... anything from this site and posts it to another site . Ban is forever!
- You’ll become an active member after 1 year... and 100 or more posts. (An exception for known good decoders and programmers)
- For all users with less than 100 posts it is mandatory to post dump files if possible.
- No codes from serial numbers or VIN for non active members
- All attachments (except the ones asking for help) MUST be uploaded using an RAR or ZIP format and with a PASSWORD.
- Do not post Copyright software - Do that in PM
- Unusual sites and information - Contact an Administrator or Moderator in PM for a discussion.
- All contacts are in PM, don't post your email address in any post unless by special circumstances.
- Any member that is found to be involved in theft of public property will be exposed and this site has the right to contact a Regional Police Service and Interpol.
- Members that have a solution(s) are requested NOT to offer a solution after a "Fix" or "Solved" (Senior, Trusted or Active may ask in PM)
- Members that have a solution can refuse that request. (Never offer a solution to a member that did not complete a profile)
- Senior members can ask the Administrators and Moderators to "politely" request the solving member for the solution.
- Any member posting garbage or ridiculous messages when help is asked for, will be warned once and the post removed.
- Any member that directs a help issue to a pay site (knowing the solution) will be banned indefinitely.
- Language is ENGLISH, you can write non English, but you MUST translate your message to English into the same post. This is because some members can not explain their problems clearly and other members may understand what they mean in their native language. (this is a test only)
- No double posting, you can "bump" your thread after 2 days with no answer
- Members must include ALL DETAILS to make easier to find within the search section and guide the other members to a solution.
- Members must have a proper and clear title to the post.
- For the member who write heeeeeelp,
?, SSSSSSSS, PLEASE or something like these examples, expect a 1 week ban and the post deleted.
- NO political statements are allowed, even in the signature. This will take effect immediately!
- All Virgin dumps, Flash dumps, Known OFF dumps must have a password, no exceptions!
- All dumps with known code must be on RAR or ZIP file with a password.
- Passwords are on PM only. Please use 8 or more characters in the password.
- No PIN codes or Passwords are not allowed in the post. NONE. If they are seen by an Administrator or Moderator, the code will be deleted and the members warned only once.
- Any member asking for a password in the post will be warned once, the second time is a ban for one(1) month.
- Do not offer passwords to members that request airbag dumps. No dump, no password
- It is polite to say thank you, not a requirement.
- All posts will include the following if possible. This will help the reading members to solve your problem.

4. Fault Codes (if possible)
5. Repair History
6. The reason for the post
7. Data scans of the computer or multiple computers
8. The IC type and model (Motorola, TRW, National Semiconductor)
9. The eeprom type must be in the post
10. The computer part and type number must be in the post
- From now on, all solved threads must be edited and add (Solved) on the title or ask for the post to be CLOSED. This takes effect immediately and INCLUDES all other posts in this sub-forum.
- All solved posts must be closed by the members or expect a warning and a later seven(7) day ban.
(It’s only polite to finish what was started). If a member does not agree, don’t post!
- It is the original posting members responsibility to close their post, not the Admins or Mods
- If a member can not agree to any rules, then don't post!
- Any Member can request their post closed or re-opened at any time to have it completed or updated. Contact a Moderator with a link in PM for that request.
- All Administrators, Moderators and Members will be treated with respect. Violation of this rule is a permanent ban.
- Violations to these rules will lead to a warning and possible ban for one(1) week, one(1) month, then one(1) year or more.
- The Administrators / Moderators have the right to change, update remove, edit and delete any content of these rules.

- Senior (active) members are very welcome to ask for rule changes, modifications, clarifications or additions.
